Wegweiser now needs a plan on every tenant after 14 days
From today a tenant needs a plan 14 days after sign-up, whatever AI it uses: the plan pays for the platform, and Wegcoins pay for use on top. Without one, Wegweiser does no new work for the tenant until a plan is active. Tenants that existed before today have until 5 November.
From today, every Wegweiser tenant needs a plan 14 days after sign-up, whether its analyses run on Wegweiser's AI or on its own key. The plan is the platform fee: collection, history, the scanner, remote access and reporting. Wegcoins pay for what you use on top of it.
This morning the rule covered only tenants on their own AI key. A tenant on Wegweiser's AI paid Wegcoins for what the models did and nothing for the rest, so remote control, live queries and the reports cost it nothing at all.
If your tenant existed before today, nothing changes until 5 November. The bell says so today, and again a week, three days and one day before.
What stops without a plan
When the free start ends and there's no plan, Wegweiser stops doing new work for the tenant:
- analyses, and the roll-ups and investigations built on them
- the chat at every level, and Cases
- remote control and the terminal
- live queries and commands to a machine
- website scans, new uptime monitors and uptime alerts
- every PDF report, scheduled ones included
- ticket triage, n8n runs and new enrolment tokens
Your agents keep checking in and collecting, and nothing is deleted. Every page that shows what was already collected stays open, and so do the settings. A banner on every page says when the free start ends, and once it has.
When a plan goes live, everything starts again as soon as Stripe confirms it, usually within a minute. A plan paid by bank debit counts from the moment it's chosen, while the debit clears.
Plans start at £2 a machine
Plans are per machine and month, excluding VAT:
- Bring your own key, £2 (€2.50), for tenants whose analyses run on their own AI key or on Ollama. Your provider bills you for analyses and chat.
- Standard, £4 (€5), with 90 Wegcoins a machine each month: a full monthly analysis pass and some headroom.
- Continuous, £12 (€14), with 400 Wegcoins a machine, for roughly weekly analysis.
A plan agreed with us directly and invoiced by us counts the same.
On your own AI key
Your own key pays your AI provider for analyses and chat, so those cost no Wegcoins. What runs on our side still does, at the same prices as for everyone else: Cases, which run on our Claude Opus, website scans, uptime monitors and copies of the onboarding report. A tenant on its own key can buy Wegcoin packs.
The Wegcoin Bazaar shows the date your free start ends, the plans, and what your Wegcoins are still used for.
