Website scans, uptime monitors and the AI buttons now cost Wegcoins

A full website security scan costs 50 Wegcoins from today, a passive check 5, and an uptime monitor 1 a month. The AI buttons on a page cost what a chat turn does.

Each price comes from what the work measured on our side. A passive check takes the scanner about 15 seconds. A full scan took a median of 75 seconds over the last 60 days, and one in ten ran past 17 minutes.

What each one costs

• Website security scan: 50 Wegcoins for a full scan, 5 for a passive check, charged when the scan completes. The AI reading of what it found stays at 8. A website rescanned weekly comes to about 200 a month.
• Uptime monitor: 1 Wegcoin a month, or 3 when it checks more often than once a minute. The first month is charged when you add it, then each month on the 1st.
• The AI buttons on a page: refreshing a client's score note or its patterns, drafting an email to the client, the summary in a QBR and explaining a detection cost what a chat turn costs, 1 Wegcoin plus 1 for each 5,000 tokens. A note a page writes on its own when it opens costs nothing.
• The weekly fleet reading: 3 for a group, 5 for a client and 5 for the whole tenant, as the group and client summaries already cost.
• The Lynis reading: 2 Wegcoins, like the other checks its size. It only runs when a machine's audit changed, so an unchanged machine costs nothing.

How it's charged

The balance is checked before the work starts, and the Wegcoins come off when it's done, so a scan that fails costs nothing. When the balance can't cover a scan, scheduled ones included, it waits and the card says why.

A tenant on its own AI key or on Ollama isn't billed in Wegcoins, and none of this changes that.
