Wegweiser spricht Deutsch

The pages in the language each person chooses, the analyses in the language the tenant chooses, and a German front door at wegweiser.tech/de/ with an Impressum. Nothing is re-run, and English stays the base.

Open your profile and pick Deutsch, or press the DE button beside the theme toggle, and the product reads in German from that moment on: the dashboard, the device pages, the console, the settings, the messages it flashes back at you, and the sign-in pages before you are even signed in. Dates read 05.09.2026 14:30 and sizes read 1.234,5 GB. It is a choice per person. A colleague on the same tenant keeps English if that is what they want.

The analyses follow the tenant, not the reader

The prose the AI writes, the analyses, the rollups and the investigations, is read by a whole team and stored once, so its language is a tenant setting. A master picks it under Settings, and every analysis is written in German from its next scheduled run.

Nothing is re-run when the setting changes. Health scores are derived from the analysis, so re-running everything would quietly move scores and break their history. An analysis written before the change keeps its English text and carries a note saying so, until its next run replaces it. The chat answers in the language you are reading in, and stays in it when it goes off to run a tool halfway through an answer.

Underneath, the prompts stay English, where every model follows instructions best. The model is told what language to write in, precisely and last, and what to leave alone: hostnames, file paths, registry keys, event IDs, package and service names and command output stay exactly as the machine reported them. A German reader gets German sentences around the same evidence.

What English still is

English is the base. A string without a German translation falls back to English rather than to nothing, and no tenant is ever configured "into" a language. That is also what makes a third language a catalogue and a review rather than code.

The front door

wegweiser.tech has a German edition at wegweiser.tech/de/, a switch between the two, and a login that follows the choice: press Anmelden on the German page and the sign-in page arrives in German. The site now has an Impressum, in German and in English, and serves its own fonts, so a page load calls no third party. Prices are shown in US dollars, and the page says so.

Where it stands

The German catalogue holds 1,174 strings, reviewed against the glossary the product is built on: Gerät, not Endpunkt; Fernwartung; Gesundheitswert; Befund. If a word reads wrong to you, say so. The glossary is a file, and a correction is a review away.
